Resinex manufactures four boom types: OSA to be used in calm waters, OSB to be used in open sea, OSC permanent boom and OSD inflateable, for emergency. Resinex booms, OSA and OSB, are usually used for containment and retrieval operations in cases of spillage of hydrocarbons, solid floating wastes, seaweed, micro-organism etc. These booms, which are used in safeguarding of sea coasts, beaches, rivers and lakes are made of PVC, or polyurethane with polyester reinforcement of high mechanical and chemical resistance.
